Parker Hale – Volunteer Rifle – Percussion – 45 cal. - Stk# P-34-47
This Parker Hale English made .45 caliber Volunteer Rifle has a 31-1/2” tapered round 1-1/16” to 7/8” blued barrel with a 1:18” twist and is fitted with an adjustable ladder sight and a hooded dovetailed front bead. This rifle also comes with an adjustable veneer style sight that is attached behind the tang. There is a British proof mark on the top of the barrel and on the tang. The bore is in very good condition. The large military style color case hardened lock has Parker-Hale stamped into the plate and is activated by a single trigger. The checkered European Walnut stock is in very good condition with the Parker Hale cartouche on the right side of the butt stock along with shooting event decals. The stock has minor handling and usage marks. This stock is fitted with a mix of brass and blued steel furniture. Overall condition is Very Good. Length of pull is 14-1/8”, overall length is 49-1/4”, and weight is 9.6 lbs.
