Proved in October of 1926, the first design with a sextuple lock, this Charles Daly Empire Grade Single Barrel Trap made with 32" Krupp fluid steel barrels. Checkered splinter forend with engraved latch release. Sextuple lock action is nicely scroll engraved and has scalloped action. Beautiful heart shaped checkered side panels with tear drop behind action. Straight grip buttstock is beautifully figured with fine and dynamic fiddleback figure which terminates with what is likely its original very old crystallizing ventilated pad.
Overall, the gun remains in excellent all original condition. Barrels retain more than 95% original blue. Action retains about 40% original case color with nice crisp engraving. Stocks are sound and original and retain more than 95% of their original finish with only minor handling marks. Pad is crystallizing. Bore is bright and shiny and the gun is tight and crisp overall.
