Description:
Here we have a Ruger Mk III 22/45 semi auto rimfire target pistol in .22 long rifle. The 22/45 was designed by Ruger to approximate the grip angle of the classic 1911 Government pistol. This particular example is in very good condition with slight high edge wear and handling marks. Rear sight is adjustable. The 5 1/2" bull barrel has a bright bore with strong rifling. There is one mark on the left side of the barrel close to the muzzle (visible in photo #3). It appears that the picatinny rail section has never been mounted onto the pistol.

- Comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap.
- Checkered, 1911-style grip panels for a great appearance and comfortable, non-slip hold.
- Accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics.
- Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs.
- Features a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame.
- Magazine drops free on release for convenient reloading.
