For consideration is a very nice Springfield Armory EMP4 1911 pistol in 9mm. Reengineered around the 9mm cartridge, the Springfield Armory® Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) translates the benefits of the full-size 1911 into a smaller platform perfectly suited for today’s most popular defense caliber. Easy carrying and smooth shooting, the EMP is built with a forged frame and slide to last a lifetime. To capitalize on the smaller caliber refinements, the EMP features a shortened frame and action compared to its full-size counterpart. The reduced grip radius produces a remarkably comfortable shooting experience and makes the pistol a concealable and confident side arm. This particular example has had the slide cerakoted black and is in very good physical and mechanical condition. Very practical G10 grip panels have been added to improved grip solidarity. Sights are low profile two dot rear and fibre optic front. The frame has a bobbed bottom rear to aid in concealability. The action is smooth and slide to frame fit is very good. The fully supported bull barrel has a bright bore and strong rifling. This fine EMP4 would be an excellent carry pistol where allowed by state and local laws. 6 magazines, zipper pouch and makers box are included.
