Custom Ruger Number One single shot rifle in 270 Winchester caliber. Beautiful walnut stock by Kent Bowerly (ACGG), checkered steel butt plate. Custom engraving by Bob Evans (ACGG) on side plates, grip cap and Talley rings, Action work and barrel installation by Mark Penrod including custom safety, barrel rib and trigger. 25 inch Krieger match grade barrel and Leupold Vari-X III scope. Rifle is in excellent plus condition. There is a small amount of bluing wear at the tip of the lever and some very light scratches on the stock if the light hits them just right. The rifle was built for a sheep hunt by its original owner and sold to me after he got his ram. This rifle shoots extremely well as you would expect from one barreled by Mr. Penrod. More pictures available upon request. Replacement cost would be in excess of $10K. $4900 shipped and insured to the United States. Payment by verifiable bank check or US postal money orders.
