Description:
Made from 1967-1979 at the Umgransh Arsenal. The Albanian SKS is one of the rarest of all the SKS variants. These were unknown in the West until 2002 when a large surplus arms corporation purchased a large stock from the post-communist. Albanian government. In 1978 approximately 4960 were made but only 1850 have survived. The Albanian model has a unique hand-guard compared to other SKS carbines. Features 20 inch round barrel chambered in 7.62x39 caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Original sights. Most all bright blue remaining and all matching numbers. Wood is in good condition with only a few handling mars. Folding spike bayonet and cleaning rod. Also a cleaning kit in the trapdoor and a new sling. A very nice looking example of a hard to find SKS variation that is sure to fill a hole in someones collection. TG KNOX TN (Tennessee Guns Import).
