1906 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 284487. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .38 Winchester Center Fire (.38-40) with 2 line barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Numbers matching on frame, trigger guard and butt of gun. Beautiful full coverage engraved with scroll on a punchdot background. David W Harris of Texas engraved and signed. 2 piece mother of pearl grips with floral carving on right grip panel. CONDITION: Excellent, with virtually all of the nickel plating remaining and engraving sharp. Caliber marking was restamped due to barrel engraving. Grips are very good with professionally repaired crack on bottom of right grip panel and minor cracks on left grip panel. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is dark from age with good visible rifling. One gorgeous high condition first generation Colt SAA, hand engraved wearing rare carved mother of Pearl grips that will shine in any collection.
