Description:
W&C Scott back action sidelock 12 gauge two barrel set with crystal cocking indicators made in 1892. Nicely engraved. Original case colors in protected areas. Highly figured damascus barrels are 30" with mirror bores, 2 3/4" chambers and the following dimensions - Right - .735 with 30/1000 choke (full) and Left .737 with 33/1000 choke (full). Steel barrel set is invisible sleeved and is 26"with mirror bores. Right - .730 with 5/1000 choke (skeet). Left - 730 with 10/1000 choke (IC). Chambers are also 2 3/4". Weight of the gun with the damascus barrel set is 6 LBS 12 5/8 OZ while the steel barrels place the gun at 6 LBS 8 3/8 OZ. This is an early W&C Scott hammerless model with the Scott patent forend latch. Tight on face / no loose ribs / no cracks to wood. LOP is 14 1/8". Drop at comb - 1 10/16". Drop at heel - 2 3/4". As an antique this gun can be sent directly as local law allows. Shipping is $75.
