R.G. Owen rifle, 30-06 Springfield, Sauquoit, n.y. Exceptional condition for close to 100 years old, very well engraved, engraving is sharp and brite, Kornbrath engraved, pistol grip cap holds adjustable eyepiece for receiver sight, butt cap holds receiver sight frame, G&H scope mount with 30 mm rings,24 inch barrel, either horn or ebony forend, some slight impressions in finish, nothing that goes through finish, worst one I see is at 3 o'clock on very back end of cheekpiece, 4 panel bolt knob, engraving on bolt handle as well as bolt selector on left side, obviously ordered with knob removed from back end of bolt,a real clean look. Trap door with release inside trigger bow.
