Description:
This is a used Smith & Wesson Model 640 revolver. It is a 5-shot, snub-nosed revolver that is chambered in .38 Special. This series of revolvers was introduced in 1990 and this model pre-dates the internal lock. Like other "J-frame" Smith & Wesson revolvers, it has a swing-out cylinder, but this model features a concealed hammer, and is part of the Centennial line .38 S&W Special
