Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .22 Short ammunition distributed by the Clinton Cartridge Company (a dummy company set up by Sears & Roebuck in Chicago, IL). The 1920's two piece green & red with cream color type box is in excellent condition with solid corners and edges, bright color and only slight rub wear. The correct cartridges are copper case with no head stamp and in excellent condition with some age darkening. Identified as Clint-1 S-3(a) in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference.
