.31 cal, #84194, 6 inch barrel, blue and case color finish with silver plate brass, 1 piece walnut grips, matching numbers, back strap engraved "Presented by/G C Brown" "to Dr. M.G. Raefle U.S.N.", (Dr. Max G. Raefle, USN, Acting Assitant Surgeon, 20 February, 1862, Resigned 18 May, 1865, Union, Civil War), Bottom of butt engraved "February 1862" manufactured 1853.
Condition: excellent bore, mottled blue/plum barrel, 40% cylinder blue fading, excellent cylinder scene, 70% case color on frame and hammer darkening, 95% silver plate on back strap and trigger guard, excellent grips, excellent marks.
