"U.S. Springfield Model 1866 2nd Allin Conversion Trapdoor .50-70 caliber rifle. U.S. Springfield Model 1866 Trapdoor in great condition. Wood shows handling wear. Metal shows grey patina with areas of staining. Lock is dated 1864. Bore is good shows areas of pitting, does still have strong rifling! Good looking gun!
