Description:
This is an original 18th or 19th Century powder horn.  It measures 6-3/4" long x 1-3/4” at the widest point on the bottom.  Made from a cow horn these were used with pistols or rifles. It has a wood plug at the top and the bottom plug is also wood and is tacked in. This horn probably comes from Pennsylvania and dates to the early 19th century or late 18th century.
