Description:
New in Box .45 Long Colt with 7 1/2" barrel. Comes with box paperwork and Factory Letter. Made in 1987
Smooth ivory stocks with blind screwhole on left side and brass colt Custom Shop 150th madallions. Factory engraved by Master Engraver Howard Dove. Type "B" scroll engraving in Henshaw on the bottom of the backstrap and on the trigger guard bow, "Nimschke" on the cylinder, "Helfricht" on the frame and "Contemporary" on the barrel and ejector rod housing. The 150th Rampant Colt logo is linecut engraved on top of the backstrap, and "Colt Engraving Sampler" is linecut engraved down the backstrap in script style.
The stocks are also scrimshawed on the left side in script with the following: R. Henshaw 1831, L. Nimschke 1850-1900, C. Helfricht 1871-1921 and Contemporary.
Was processed on Colt Custom Shop Order Number 3185, and is one of only 14 revolvers produced in the Sampler Edition in this Particular model Configuration.
