Description:
Two very nice fireable muskets, both US marks on the butts, the plate .  The smaller musket most likely confederate
dated 1837.  Very, very faint mark where the cartouche would be.  Hammer falls slightly off center, but it doesn't interfer with firing.
Very old repair on the wrist.

The larger musket cut down to artillary length.  Plate and butt plate US marked.  Date is 1833.  Factory arsenol bands were replaced with beautiful splicing.  Fires excellent and two nice cartouches.  Very slight crack, that has been repaired, running through the cartouches, should show up in the pictures.
