ORIGINAL & FINE CIVIL WAR COLT 1851 NAVY PERCUSSION .36 CAL. REVOLVER. 7½” octagon barrel with the desirable and scarce “ADDRESS SAML. COLT HARTFORD CT” address. All matching in the 93,xxx range and manufactured in 1860 with high probability that it was shipped to the South or purchased by a purchasing agent for one of the Southern State Governments. Really nice condition with much of the original blue and patina mixed on barrel and cylinder and modest amounts of greyish case colors on the frame. Brass straps with approximately half of the silver plating. Original factory walnut grips with most of the original finish. Perfect markings and extra nice “NAVAL ENGAGEMENT” cylinder scene. Beautiful untouched screws with original blue remaining. Extra nice and reasonably priced.
