Original Colt Commando made in 1942. In original box and cosmoline as shipped from Colt Factory. 4 inch barrel, .38 Special, Bakelite grips. Marked "MASS" on bottom of frame. These Colt Commandos originally sent to Massachusetts National Guard, never issued, then sent to Massachusetts State Police, and never issued. Stamped G.H.D., the apporval stamp of General Guy H. Drewry, the Chief of Small Arms Division U.S. Army. Also the flaming bomb on the receiver. The listing is correct, we have a number of these available.
