Description:
This is an excellent example of a Walther K.43 Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper Waffen proofs throughout. Most of the gun has a late-war phosphate finish, but the barrel is blued giving it a really nice dual-tone appearance. It is a sniper configuration with an excellent high-quality reproduction mount and a period-correct scope (very nice optics, only slightly cloudy). Also comes with a leather eye cover, a period-correct leather sling, one period-correct magazine, and a cleaning rod. The gun itself has retained virtually all of its original finish with a few light scuffs along the barrel and some spotty discoloration on the phosphate parts (typical for these finishes). The stock is not numbered (correct for late-war) but is waffen proofed on the wrist and on the left side of the butt stock. It is dated 1944 under the butt plate. It has been lightly sanded and finished with lacquer. The bore is mint.
