Colt New Service .455 Eley Revolver. S/N: 66899. 5.5" barrel. This is a Colt New Service revolver from 1914 still chambered for the British .455 Eley cartridge. These revolvers were acquired by the British War Department during World War I, and they were popular with British officers. This one is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. It is a large frame, large caliber, double-action revolver made by Colt from 1898 until 1941.
