Sold SHIPOED Listing a classic old Savage takedown of mine, my 250-3000 , sn 200888, built in 1919 near the end of the interrupted thread design , the first 250 take down with the checkered steel butt plate , pistol grip and the early checkered forearm with the left side traverse screw showing. These were the rifles that pushed the other rifle makers to put a little speed on those old hunk's of lead being thrown out there. Can you imagine after the 22 Hi Power then along comes this little speed merchant. Any way she's 104 and wearing all its original blue and finish , has some nick's, dent's in the wood and a few worn areas but find me a nicer bore. Has the Savage rear sight and a Lyman folding peep on rear. Locks up tight, cycles fine. Shoots really well. About all I can say, need grocery money more than a room full of old rifles.
