Description:
This is a rather rare, early pre model 10 Smith & Wesson K frame from 1948. It is chambered for the 38 S&W Special CTG. This is a 5 screw, 6 shot revolver with a pinned 2" barrel, (non recessed cylinder). It has a square butt frame, with very nice condition factory diamond grips. The original overall condition of this Smith would rate as collector quality around 95%+. The bore is in mint condition, and the gun comes with the early Bucheimier BPM-2 holster that was more then likely purchased with it when new. All script and S/N are sharp and crisp, with the S/N C 281XX appearing on both the heel and the cylinder. The single and double action work perfectly, with an excellent trigger feel. Unfortunately I do not have the original box or paperwork for this rare gun. $1500.00 by PMOs or other certified funds.
