Description:
For sale is a Marlin Model 39 Century chambered in 22 Long Rifle. 20" Octagon barrel, walnut stock and forend. Brass buttplate and forend keeper. This rifle is in 98% original condition with minimal blue wear on one side of the hammer and the same on the lever where it pivots into the action. This is normal blue wear from cycling the action and shooting the gun. Since theres not much wear in those 2 areas, I believe the rifle hasn't been shot all that much. I've put about 150 rounds through it since I've had it. It still has a factory sticker on the forend. These rifles were all produced in 1970 to commemorate Marlin's 100th birthday. Over 30K were produced so it's not a rare gun but it is of Marlin quality from that era and is an excellent shooter that has been well taken care of. The factory scope base is included, already mounted in place. Selling off my collection due to age and medical issues.
