Payment Types Accepted: Money Order - Cashiers Check Description: Ithaca Gun Co. - Ithaca, New York. 20 gauge Flues Model 4E. This extremely fine Ithaca Flues “4E” is a very special American double that deserves microscopic inspection as it was no doubt engraved by one of America’s finest engravers of the era. A second year production gun built in 1909, it was handsomely stocked with nicely figured American walnut, Fluer-de-lis checkering with ribbons, splinter forend with push button release, semi-pistol grip stock with black grip cap and a small escutcheon embossed "LS", gold plated triggers, and perfectly timed ejectors. The 26-1/4" barrels are marked "Krupp Fluid Steel" and are choked .024" / .027" (F/F), retaining the original 2-3/4" chambers, with slight corrosion appearing on the bottom rib only (see attached photo). It's early engraving is simply fantastic with finely detailed English style scroll, life-like and well defined dogs and game animals, and profuse coverage with ornate borders. The action retains approx 85-90% original case colors with ever so slight pin-prick tarnish spots. This gun has wonderful shooting dimensions with a 14" LOP over its original horn buttplate. Drop at Comb 1-1/2” x Drop at Heel 2-3/4” x 0” cast. Weight: 5 lbs. 8 oz. The gun has not been altered in any way regarding original factory configuration or features. A true American Masterpiece !!!
