I'm selling this rifle for a friend of mine, Mark Buchanan. This rifle is featured in his video, Big Bore Produtions, Bolted to Death.
Beautiful Joe Smithson 500 Jeffery bolt action repeater built on a Granite Mountain Arms action. This rifle is shown on the home page of Joe's -- the rifle on the right side of the last photo in this ad. S/N 0142. 24” barrel and 11.5 lbs. Length of pull is 14”. 3+1 capacity with hinged floorplate. I’m selling this for my client who purchased this rifle brand new from Joe Smithson in 2008 and took it on one Safari. It has been fired apx 40 rounds. Joe builds less than 10 rifles per year and he builds among the best Safari grade bolt action rifles. The condition of the rifle is excellent – see photos. The bore is clean with sharp rifling. Also included is the following ammo:
- Kynock 535g soft nosed – 23 rounds
- Joe Smithson Woodleigh Handloaded 535g soft nosed. - 18 rounds
- WR case, solid bullet (unknown manufacturer) - 3 rounds
