Description:
General Specs: Justin Sip, 458 Lott, 9lbs
Serial Number: G326211

Justin Sip has been building well-respected custom rifles for almost two decades and this one is certainly a special, well-built rifle destined for African dangerous game, the largest of dangerous bears, or the largest cats world-wide.  Cradled in a Kevlar stock, the Winchester Model 70 controlled round feed action has been honed and tuned to perfection for the smoothest, most reliable action one could ask for, a real plus when your prey can turn the tables on you in an instant.  It is crisp, precise, and smooth as silk.  The 24” fluted barrel displays a quarter-rib, mounted with a rigid sight and a folding sight regulated for 60 yards and 125 yards respectively.  The muzzle is threaded and is shown in the photos with the thread protector in place, and with the included muzzle brake provided by Justin Sip.  The ramped front sight wraps the muzzle of the barrel and barrel and action are coated with a proprietary hard use, satin black coating.  The jeweled bolt, Teflon coated follower, Blackburn bottom metal, and detachable, return-to-zero scope mounts complete the package.  This rifle is in like new condition and is being offered at a fraction of the cost to reproduce this rifle today.  The .458 Lott cartridge drives a 500-grain bullet at over 2300fps, with over 5300 ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle, and over 4500 ft. lbs. of energy at 100 yards!  Heavy hitter indeed!  This rifle is available today with no long, dragged out wait typical with ordering one new in today’s overwhelmed custom rifle market.  Thanks for looking!

We employ full time gunsmiths on premises and can perform alterations to suit your needs within a few weeks of purchase. Common requests are: -stock bending to suit your particular requirements -addition of any specified butt pad to increase length of pull -alteration of chokes to suit your shooting preferences -lengthening of chambers and forcing cones -darkening stock color with penetrating stains -restoring any part of the gun including rust blue, charcoal blue, bone and charcoal case color, wood restoration and checkering recuts. If you like one our guns but it needs "tweaked", let us know and we can quote you a time and price. Some enthusiasts like the guns "as found" and others want them "just so". We often list guns as found and let the particular buyer choose how they want their gun to fit or look.
