Presented here is a S&W Model 639 9mm in near-mint condition. Introduced in the mid-80s, the Smith & Wesson Model 639 is essentially an upgraded version of the Model 39, which was initially used and carried by military and law enforcement. Model 639s were only manufactured from 1981-1988 and are becoming rare and collectable. This Model 639 comes with a 4-inch barrel; adjustable sights; 8-shot magazines; ambidexterous safety-decock; and is in excellent condition. This model was discontinued in 1988 and they are getting hard to find in this condition. The gun appears to have been fired very little. There are no scratches or abrasions in the stainless finish and mechanically it functions flawlessly. The high resolution pictures provided exemplify the beautiful condition of this gun.
