SOLD--please see my other listings! This 1948 Duck grade is a rare find in this great condition with 32 in vent rib barrels and it matches the Cody Factory letter to a tee. After I found this gun, I sent it to Jay at VFI (Vintage Firearms) to have it stripped and ultra-sonic cleaned, re-lubed, checked and adjusted so mechanically it is like new. (any guns over 30 years old need to have this done anyway, especially single trigger guns) No cracks in wood, all serial numbs match, some carrying wear on bottom edges of receiver and fences but over 95% of original finish on action. Barrels are 98% so may have been properly rust reblued at some point in its 75 year life, the bores are mirror. You can't find a nicer, mechanically correct and clean Duck grade with 32 in vent rib and beautiful wood. Checkering is perfect. Factory full and full chokes (42/1000 and 41/1000) and weighs 7 lbs, 14 oz. These specially bored Duck grades were expensive to make and only made until 1952. So rare in any case in great condition but especially with 32 VR.
