Description:
Serial #107311, .455 Eley, 5 1/2" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few traces of freckling within the grooves. This is a 1916-made revolver that has retained 80-85% of the original blue finish, with silvering along the high and exposed edges, a turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder, and gray fading at the muzzle-end of the barrel. Crisp British military and post-war London commercial proofs are present throughout. The checkered Colt hard rubber grips are in fine shape with a few minor handling marks and some flattening of the points on either side. The lock-up is tight, and the action is fully functional. This is a great looking British-issued New Service, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
