Description:
SOLD - Colt 1911 LW commander chambered in .45 ACP, all original from 1968. Its a jewel from my personal collection. Comes with all original parts and great condition colt woodgrips with it, also 7rd .45Auto magazine. This Gun its a collectors item. With a great mirror blued finishing on the slide and shiny black aluminum frame makes this gun a great carry gun for its light weight and length at only 4.25” Lw commanders were manufactured by colt in the early 50’s all the way to 70’s for the US army soldiers in order to make the new 1911 platform easier to carry in combat weighing at 29.4 oz and chambered in the greatest rd ever made .45ACP. Very little wear & also this gun has only been shot once since I added it to my colt collection.
