This is a British Enfield No. 2 Mk1* made in 1943. This double-action-only revolver is chambered in the British .38 S&W 38/200 cartridge (not .38 Special). This revolver was made in the Royal Small Arms Factory at Enfield and features a 5” barrel, break top action with ejector, fixed sights, black plastic grips with the brass disc (unmarked), lanyard ring, and the original non-glare finish. This matching numbers pistol is in 90% condition with a solid lock up, precise action, and a good trigger. There is some edge wear on the finish as shown. The bore is good with crisp rifling. A nice example of a British Enfield 38.
