Cartridge designed and first rifles procuced Circa 1969 a-la Mr. Keith & Mr. Thomson.
Based on a slightly shortened 378 Wby, to properly accomodate the " Slow Powders "
of the day, this cartridge preceeded the 338-378 Wby by about 30 years.
Great on game requiring the High Energy of the 338 Magnums. One & Done!!
Great rifle and a piece of Cartridge Development History both.
Small damage to rear of stock left side, however, if you are shooting the rifle,
the only thing that would be able see those scratches is your right ear, ( if it could ).
