Description:
This Pre-64 Model 70 was made in 1951. 24 inch round barrel chambered in 270 Win caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Hooded front sight and folding semi-buckhorn rear. Also fitted with 1-piece scope base and rings with a Weaver KV fixed power scope. Optics are clear. Gun retains about 70% overall blue with some handling wear. Mechanics are good. Checkered pistol grip stock is in good condition with just a few light handling mars and dings. Sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate. This is a great deer rifle.
