Perazzi MX8 12 gauge two-barrel set. Imported by Ithaca, serial 48005 has 32-inch barrels (fixed IM/F, double beads, rib .400-inch at muzzle, ported, vent middle rib, 2.75-inch chambers, ejectors). Features include a manual safety, single inertia trigger and removable trigger group (two). The butt is adjustable and the grip has finer checkering than the beavertails. Serials on both barrels, both forend irons, the two-barrel forend wood and the receiver match. Trigger groups are numbered 48158 and 46960. Both operate properly. CONDITION: Both barrel sets are on face. The opening lever rests well right. Bores are bright. Mechanics are solid. Barrel finish is approximately 80 percent. Receiver colors are approximately 70 percent with yellowing to the laquer overcoat. Wood is approximately 70 percent. EXTRA BARREL: Length is 34 inches. Full choke. Rib width is .400-inch at the muzzle. Double beads. Metal and wood finishes are each approximately 80 percent. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with either barrel system) is 9.4 pounds.
