These pistols along with a 10 shot automatic were produced by Hartford arms as Thier model 1925 Hartford arms was bought out along with their patents and later became Hi Standard arms which shortly brought out the Hi Standard model B which was vertually a model 1925 with even most parts interchanging. Hartford arms produced approximately a total of 5,000 pistols approximately 1,500 single shot pistols and approximately 3,500 10 shot automatics. The Hartford arms pistols truly belong in every advanced Hi standard collection.they were also the model for the colt woodsman. It was based on an example of a model 1925 automatic. This rare model 1925 single shot is an extra fine example with 95++ original blue finish. It has an excellent bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. It is in excellent mechanical condition. lt is serial number #1478. The wood grips are in excellent condition with only minor handling marks. It has had little or no use. This pistol would make a fine addition to any serious collection price is for the pistol only.but is available at an additional charge. Shipping charges are the actual cost.
