Here we have an Alantic Arms Exclusive Russian MOLOT VEPR AK style .308 Winchester rifle build in excellent condition. This rifle looks to have been VERY lightly used in the past if at all, since being factory test-fired after being modified to it's current configuration. The rifle has a few tiny handling marks and is overall in excellent condition inside and out. The 20.4" barrel has a clean and bright bore with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections of any kind. The barrel is fitted with a TAPCO muzzle brake device and SGM Tactical free-floated handguard that offers the option to add accessories like a light, laser, bipod, or forward-mounted scout-style scope or electronic optic. It also has a standard Russian AK-style scope rail riveted to the side of the receiver for easy mounting of a side-mounted quick-release scope. The stock is an 12-position adjustable SGM Tactical unit that extends from a 12.25" inch length of pull to 17" inches with a locking lever to secure it. The pistol grip is made by Hogue and is a rubber-overmolded finger groove model. A 5-round and 10-round detachable box magazine are included with the rifle. These rifles have become very scarce so here's your opportunity to add one of these very desirable pieces to your collection in like-new condition. Atlantic Arms really hit a home-run on these Molot Vepr custom builds to modernize them and make them much easier to accessorize to the new owner's vision of the rifle. Chambered in the .308 Winchester cartrdige instead of the normal 7.62x54R cartridge, there are many more factory-made ammunition choices to pick from to really dial the rifle in to whatever you are using the rifle for. These rifles have a superb reputation for being very well-made, durable, reliable and extremely accurate. These Veprs are really the ultimate version of the Molot Vepr design and would be a great addition to any tactical/military weapons collection. Not only would this rifle be a blast to shoot a the the range or farm, but should prove to be an excellent long-term investment.
