Description:
Browning BSS Sporter 20 gauge. Made in 1977, serial 03476RR368 has 26-inch barrels (fixed IC/M, matted rib, 3-inch chambers, ejectors). Features include an automatic safety, single mechanical trigger, selector, semi-beavertail forend, straight grip stock and an oil finish. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.6 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.2 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.5 inches, and cast off is approximately .25-inch. CONDITION: The bores are mirror. Barrels are on face, the opening lever rests centered and mechanics are snappy. Metal finish is approximately 90 percent with a few small spots of brown on the rib surface over the chambers. Wood is approximately 95 percent. A previous owner immortalized himself by adding his name/number to the water table, barrels and forend iron in electric pencil. The price is firm and layaway is available. $2,500 plus shipping.
