Colt M1902 double-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt. Developed from the Model 1878 double-action revolver for use in the Philippines insurrection by the US Army, this Model 1902 is one of 4,600 firearms acquired by the government for use and bears the "U.S." and "D.A.C." inspector stamps. The serial number (48153) suggests that the revolver was manufactured in 1901. While in overall good condition, the lockup is loose at full cock and the cylinder stop appears to be weak. .45 Colt
