Description:
Special order Takedown frame features a 26 inch octagon barrel chambered in desirable 45-70 caliber. Full length magazine. Sharp corners. Most all thinning original barrel and mag blue remains. Lyman ivory bead front sight and sporting rear. Bright shiny bore. Receiver retains most thinning original blue with some thinning at the carry point. Hammer has some good case color while lever has traces. Very crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some minor handling mars as well as some good traces of original varnish. Rifle style buttplate. A nice honest old Winchester from 1903.
