Description:
I recently spoke to a very knowlegeble old friend regarding this pistol. I told him that the letter said it was shipped with blue finish. But, that it is now silver with ivory grips and appears to been that way forever. He said he has read in the past that the arsenals were known to remove the bluing and "TIN" the revolver and install ivory grips for presentation to officers. This is new to me, but I thought I should throw it out there. I will see him in 2-1/2 months and will show him the revolver at that time.
