RARE, for collectors, Model 12 SUPER X Black Diamond/ circa 1937 with ULRICH 3or 4 engraved . New lower sale price . RARER 32 inch solid rib barrel. Receiver blue/ silvered down to 65%. Barrel more % blue. Winchester Proof steel. Stock has newer varnish finish , over 3-4 X burl walnut wood . Forend also has 3 diamond "pigeon" style patterned on forend bottom . Action smooth/ timing good. Factory wooden plug . Factory leaded stock over original pad 1922. 13-1/2- 5/8ths pull for a heavy duck . Take up ring on 3rd row. 9 pounds weight . Serial No .748675. Magazine tube serial number matches receivers. Some shallow hunting bumps on mag-tube from old hunts . In Elmer Keiths Shotguns book on page 183, a similar 1930's gun owned by Glenn L. Martin is shown in 1st photo . Nearly same gun features in both models except for left receiver side goose shown . Nice.Mechanically sound . Not many Black Diamond Ducks out there, as most were Black Diamond Trap grades . No sales to CA $65- ship/ ins . C&R eligible .
