Description:
1944 BLM duv G43 rifle #7605h, with Opticotechna telescope with genuine original mount #WaA214, in very good original matching condition with original sling, with capture certificate including the veteran's name, rank, and serial number. The unsanded stock is correctly numbered with intact waffenampts. This G43 has its original ZF4 mount and scope. I purchased it more than 30 years ago from a veteran's estate in Montana. The capture paper was stored in the butt compartment. It had been taken in and out enough times to be a bit tattered. The rifle is a duv44 manufactured by BLM in November-December 1944. Everything on the rifle matches as 7605h but one part of the gas system. The rifle is in very good+ condition with a perfect bore. A few small dings on the stock and barrel are shown in the photos. The stock waffenampts and serial number are distinct. The handguard has a repaired internal crack but appears completely sound. The Opticotechna telescope is in good condition and the crosshairs are distinct. The WaA214 mount is also in good condition. The rifle stock  has never been sanded, as all parts remain proud and waffenampts are distinct.  All parts of the rifle, including the cleaning rod are original. The magazine is marked aye and K43 and the sling is marked L&F. I've tried to learn more about the veteran who brought the rifle home. His name appears on the capture certificate as 'Sgt. Donald O. Hague' with apparent serial number 39381983 but the number is not perfectly clear. The captain who signed the certificate has the last name “Lally” with the 376th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion. During the period after this G43 rifle was made and issued (Nov.-Dec. 1944), the 376th Battalion was active in Belgium and Germany.  In the 376th Battalion records I found one Captain James Lally 0-1286145. He passed away 11/1/1970. I have a current search in military archives for Sgt. Hague further information so far. Please examine the photos and condition of the rifle. If you have questions or would like additional photos don't hesitate to contact me as I have many detailed. It would be difficult to find a more authentic collector G43 rifle. It was returned to the United States by a known veteran. It is in unaltered original condition with authentic telescope and mount that have apparently never been removed from the rifle since coming to the States. Requires an FFL or C&R license. Payment by bank money order or cashier's check. Not for sale to CA, NJ, HI, or other states that prohibit or limit purchase of semi-automatic firearms with 10 round magazine.
