This a really nice old 98 sporter in a hard-to-find 8mm-06 caliber. This is a conversion with a really nice walnut stock. The metal is in good condition but the bluing is getting thin. The 8mm-06 caliber lies between the 30-06 and the 35 Whelen. The 8mm-06 was a very popular conversion, necking up 30-06 casings to 8mm. The rifle is shipped with 45, 8mm-06 casings, and 45, 8mm,185 gr bullets, $400.00 plus shipping. This is an FFL-required transaction.
