An Early Civil War Original Factory Case For A Colt Model 1855 Root Revolver With A 3 1/2 Inch Barrel In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The case has a fine burgundy original lining and partitions throughout it. The outside of the box is excellent throughout and has no warping in the lid. It closes tightly as shown. The bottom of the box is also excellent throughout. It has its original brass shield around the keyhole. This Is A Very Fine Looking Example Of An Early Civil War Original Factory Case For A Colt Model 1855 Root Revolver With A 3 1/2 Inch Barrel!
