SOLD.....W&C Scott and Son .600 Nitro Express Double
Rifle, the gun, based on the serial number, was originally made in 1916 and went back to WC Scott in 1924 possibly to be re-barreled or re-regulated. The original regulations marked on the barrel flats was 115 grains of Cordite with 900 grain bullet at 2000 FPS. We re-regulated the rifle with 155 gr. H4831 with 900 grain bullet at 2000 FPS and it shoots inside 2-1/2" at 50 yards.
Overall condition is 98%, the action is extremely tight, stocked with a nice piece of English Walnut
with very few minor handling marks.
Barrels are 24-1/2" long with mirror bores, total weight is 13 pounds. Very rare and unique piece cased in original oak and leather case with labels.

NOTE: the gun comes with 20 loaded rounds to new regulation specs.
