Description:
This is an all original and correct 1909 US Military issued Colt in 45 caliber. The original finish rates at roughly 90%, and the bore is a shiny 9 out of 10. There is thinning and light patina on the grip straps, some wear on the cylinder, and some light somewhat scratchy wear along the barrel. Light freckling throughout. The action and timing are excellent, and overall condition is excellent. It has the early Colt "surfboard" logo, and the inspector initials on the frame are RAC. There is an additional FB inspector proof as well. The serial numbers are all matching and the bottom of the frame is marked US Army, Model 1909. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - small chip in the bottom corner of the right panel.
