Description:
This is a rare, mint Colt Government Model Series 70 with class "B" factory engraving. The pistol is in the original Colt custom shop box with serialized label, and the listing includes the Colt archives letter which confirms the engraving to be factory original. The gun was shipped in 1978 to a gun distributor in California. The gun appears to be in like-new, unfired condition. Mint bore and no finish wear, has only been racked a few times. Sharply checkered grips with no defects. Box still has the Styrofoam insert. FFL required.
