Description:
Special order 20 inch half octagon nickel steel barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Full length magazine with Take down frame. Barrel and mag tube are a plum/brown blue coloration. Lyman blade front sight and sporting rear. A good bore with visible rifling that could use a good cleaning. Receiver is a brown/gray with original blue showing through in protected areas. Traces of case color on the lever. Crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition and show a little extra figure as was sometimes done on special order rifles. Crescent rifle style buttplate. This is a hard to find configuration that is verifiable by a Cody Research Form. Model 1894 Short Rifle from 1907 that is sure to fill a hole in your collection.
