Description:
The Model 1917 was produced by both Colt and Smith and Wesson. This one is in good condition as most of these were really 'used up." this one features fixed sights, much of the original blue remains, and the cylinder locks up tight. The Rampant Colt logo is sharp and clear. Year of manufacture is 1918. .45 ACP

Chambers: 6 rounds
Metal Condition: Very good. About half the blue remains with some wear concentrated around the muzzle and the sharp edges. The blue parts are rending toward a patina.
Wood Condition: Good. Normal wear including scratches on the bottom of the grips.
Bore Condition: A bit dark and rough but usable. The rifling is okay.
Barrels: 5-1/2 inch
Triggers: Factory double and single action trigger.
Butt Pad: Smooth walnut.
Weight: 40 oz
Sights: Blade type post and top-strap notch.
