Description:
The P38 was developed as a replacement for the P08 Luger and was much simpler to manufacture. This one was manufactured in 1943 by the Walther company and is early enough in the production to show good machining quality with little of the roughness of later manufacture. The metal is in good shape, the visible numbers match, and the grips show finish wear. The pistol features a decocker on the safety lever. The magazine shows very little wear and is marked "P38." 9mm Luger

Metal Condition: Very good. There is some blue worn from and around the muzzle and the sharp edges. Mostly looks really good.
Wood Condition: Very good. There is some surface wear but nothing of real note.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling.

Triggers: Factory double and single action.
Butt Pad: Brown Bakelite grips.
Weight: 34 oz.
Sights: Fixed post and notch.
